I’ve been in the industry since 2012. Started out mixing in an underground club in Split, and then moved to larger gigs through the years. Currently, I do between 100 and 150 shows per year. My introduction to this industry came from my love for music and technology. When I was 18 years old, I restored an old RCF PA system that came from a club my father owned in the 90s. I brought it to an underground club in Split where I met the sound engineer that worked there, and then it all started. I spent the first 3 years mixing punk and metal shows 2-3 times a week in very inappropriate conditions. I would usually multitrack record all these shows and then practice again later at home. Once I had a couple of hundred gigs of experience I started mixing outdoors, which lead to new connections and more work every year. Currently, my main occupation is outdoor shows between 500 and 2000 people. I also have a friend whom I’m building a small rental company with where I cover the logistics and work both as a System Engineer and a FOH Engineer. We have a CODA audio line array, 8 + 3 per side. I do my best to set it up properly using ease-focus and smaart. I also have some basic experience with the l’acoustics network manager and soundvision.
