About us

Since 2008. in Audio Engineering

Rent The Show is the project outcome of 15 years of experience in audio engineering & multimedia. Our team is a collection of professionals who can support your events, from 100 up to +10.000 visitors. From 2008-2018 were running the EMI Institute school for Audio Engineering and Music Business in Croatia and Slovenia. In 2018 we become part of United POP, a worldwide academy for Music, Media & The Arts. For more than 15 years we are working with professionals in the music & event industry, and it is part of our DNA. We are providing education for our teams at each stage, so they are always ready for every task at the highest possible level.

For the last 20 years, Igor was working as a professional in the photography and video production field. Until 2013 he was working as a freelancer, and after he started his own company Element Media, for photo and video. Igor is a perfectionist in every segment, from commercial video recording and editing, and documentary movies to photo shooting and editing. He is a passionate equipment lover and he is using top-of-the-line products for his job. Some of his clients were: Badel, Highlander, Pannonian Challenge, Kandit, HEP, Osijek Koteks, Zicer, Mirror Munich, Emmaus International, and many more.

Primary his lens was focused on concerts, festivals, clubbing, and corporate events, while the second part of his work was on movie sets and music videos. First, he was working on small events as a freelancer, and soon after his engagement starts at a famous club in Zagreb, Green Bar Žabac. After the war in Sarajevo, twenty-six years ago, I started to work for the COMUSA organization, the part of The Serius Road Trip. At that time this was the only professional organization for the concerts and events and the pioneers for the Techno partys. Later, I worked in Pavaroti Centar Mostar, and Alter Art Travnik. In Dom Mladih Skenderija, after the reconstruction, I was the monitor engineer and FOH engineer. Also, I worked as the sound engineer for the OBN TV on the project Big Mama House and War of the bands, the live TV shows. I was involved in the Sarajevo Film Festival. In the last twelve years, I worked for the Promo Logistika in the audio department.

After college, I started my career in 2014 as an Audio Technician in the Vatroslav Lisinski concert hall, where my passion and love for this type of work started. After that, I worked in one of the largest rental companies in Croatia in all audio positions. In the last couple of years, I mostly worked in the position of System Engineer for arenas and large spaces, and as a FOH Engineer for medium and corporate events with a high level of production.

I have been in the music business as an Audio Technician for 10+ years now, starting off in studio recordings and mixing, and ending up in live sound. After my BA in Audio Production at SAE Institute, I started working in a legendary Croatian venue called Močvara, where I had the opportunity to work with huge names in the business, leading me to jobs all over Croatia for various bands, festivals, and shows. Through projects led by European Social Funds and Croatian ministries of culture and education, I have been teaching new engineers in basics of audio production. I also had the opportunity to tour all over Europe with several bands, giving me the chance to familiarise myself with different loudness laws and audio installments. Throughout my learning process in festivals and shows, I managed to develop skills in light setups and programming, as well as rigging.
